Gaggenau ovens have a few nifty features which make cleaning a breeze. So say goodbye to cleaning agents and elbow grease, because we’re gonna show you how to clean you Gaggenau ovens effortlessly.
Gaggenau Pyrolytic Cleaning
Pyrolytic cleaning is great. Your oven heats up to it’s maximum temperature and literally burns all dirt, grease, and grime to a crisp. Fine, dust-like crisp. Then, once the oven cools down and the programme is complete, you just open the oven door and wipe the particulate dust away with a damp cloth. How easy is that! Find out more at our dedicated blog post on Pyrolytic Cleaning, or just scroll down to find a Gaggenau Oven equipped with Pyrolytic Cleaning.
What does Pyrolysis Mean?
The word pyrolysis comes from Greek – “pyro” for fire, and “lysis” for separating. Pyrolytic self cleaning ovens use heat to separate charred food remains and grease from the inside of your oven.
Is it safe?
Yes – the ovens have multiple layers of insulation, and won’t feel any hotter than during normal baking use.
Gaggenau Combi Steam Oven Automatic Cleaning
Gaggenau’s Combi Steam Ovens also have an automated cleaning option. Using the Gaggenau water filter specially designed for it’s self cleaning cycle, you simply plug it in, and select the oven’s self cleaning cycle. And Viola, clean as new 🙂
